2019 Mazda3

Mazda brought back the “zoom-zoom” attitude and appearance in spades with its redesigned Mazda3 hatchback and sedan for 2019.  They gave the “3” a sleek nose, masculine grille and squinty headlights and a more luxurious and functional interior with a new tech interface. 

This Mazda3just looks more mature with a cleaner side profile and a fast styled roof-line that leads into a stub tail for its trunk opening of the hatch.  It is so much more fun to drive than a typical compact car with more eye-catching design and a cabin that does a great impression of a luxury sedan.  Ever thought you got more than you paid for?   Sliding inside and settling down on those comfy redesigned sturdy seats in front of the classic steering wheel, you will appreciate the clean dash layout covered in stitched simulated leather and other premium materials. 

The Mazda3 also features minimal buttons and a large 8.8-inch touch screen for the highly rated Mazda Connect infotainment setup that includes standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. You and yours will think this is a great place to spend your drive times.  The most significant addition to the 2019 Mazda3 is under the handsome hood with the Skyactiv-engine with improved torque and fuel economy. This new available 2.0-liter four cylinder punches out 190 lively ponies and 170 lb-ft of “get up and go”.  This four banger will be paired with a hybrid later to give the Mazda3 even greater fuel efficiency.  The 2.5-liter returns as the base engine with over 180 horses.  Transmission choices include a six speed manual for those who prefer to throw their own gears or a six speed automatic. 

 In your enjoyable test drive, you will notice how quiet the ride is because of added noise insulation.  Also added is 30% more high strength steel for body rigidity, control and crash safety.  All Wheel Drive will be offered for the first time along with G-Vectoring Control Plus that uses the brakes to stabilize the car during emergency maneuvers. To further protect the driver and passengers is a suite of safety systems like the semi-autonomous Cruising and Traffic Support feature. Remember, you always have precious cargo on board.
